Doomshire I cannot remember when a piece of music(or two)had such an effect on me.When epinoia came on I thought my speakers then my brain would explode. genius improvisation takes you to the far reaches of the cosmos then returns to melt your face with the heaviest slice of feedback n fuzz you can imagine. Sounds like these haven't been made since Amon Duul or Hawkwind blew their brains out with reverb and sandoz. I hope Population II will release on vinyl soon.bonne ecoute? oui, tres bonne ecoute!! Favorite track: Epinoia.

about

From nothing came everything. Still to this day, the most dazzling mystery that underlies existence surely has to be the coming into being of the universe. How could it be? We don't quite know... Or remember, it seems.
Close observation of matter and distant observation of outer space has brought us closer to the complex workings of the physical universe. But still, we are left stranded when it comes to the elusive nature of thought.
This song is intended to bring you back to the very first stages of evolution of the created universe; to the very first apparition of the phenomenon of thought. EPINOIA

ANTICHTHON is the ancient greek word for what would roughly translate as ''counter-earth''. Back in ancient Greece, it was widely believed that existed a complementary Earth rotating at the exact opposite orbital position from the Earth we inhabit. Both orbited around a mysterious Central Fire, distinct from the Sun, making the Antichthon impossible to detect from our planet itself.

Now, not all theories need to be taken as literal truth; and this might be one case. In its own peculiar way, it sheds a new light on the microcosm of man.
It invites us to wonder if indeed we could be missing out on the true complex composition of our beings by our unwillingness to leave our limited perspective. Is fear and comfort keeping us from the truth and reality of who we truly are?
The means to accomplish such a voyage are many, though most of them are the object of a strong social and political repression. This song is one of them.
